The method

Four quiet steps. One deliberate outcome.

RatioPro is built on a simple idea: the two ratios lenders watch — utilization and DTI — respond to structure faster than they respond to hope. Here is exactly how the app helps you build that structure.

01

Add your cards.

Enter each of your credit cards manually. For each card, we ask for five pieces of information — nothing more.

No bank credentials. No screen-scraping. No third parties pinging your accounts. Your card list lives on your device, encrypted at rest.

You can add a card in about 40 seconds. Most people add all their cards in under 10 minutes.

What we ask for

  • Card nickname (e.g. "Chase Sapphire")
  • Current balance
  • Credit limit
  • APR (annual percentage rate)
  • Payment due date
  • Statement close date (when it reports to bureaus)
02

See the truth.

The moment your cards are in, RatioPro shows you the exact number lenders are looking at — not a rounded estimate, not a vague summary.

Your current credit utilization ratio, per card and overall. Your debt-to-income ratio if you've entered your income. The interest you're bleeding on each card this month. The card that's dragging your score down the most.

This is the moment most users describe as "clarifying."

Example screen

"Your utilization is 62%. Card 3 is doing the most damage — it's at 94%. Bringing that one card below 30% could move your score 20–35 points in the next reporting cycle."

What you'll see

  • Overall utilization ratio
  • Per-card utilization
  • DTI ratio (if income entered)
  • Monthly interest cost per card
  • Your worst-performing card
  • The card with the biggest score-move opportunity
03

Choose your pace.

Pick a plan length. 3, 6, 12, or 24 months. RatioPro will show you the monthly payment required for each pace — so you can pick the one that fits your reality, not someone else's spreadsheet.

Then set your budget: what you can pay toward your cards this month. Set it for one month only. Set it for the next three. Change it as your life changes. Life shifts. Your plan shifts with it.

The math we do

  • Distribute your monthly payment across cards
  • Prioritize the moves that lower utilization fastest
  • Time payments before statement dates, not just due dates
  • Adjust as your balances change month-to-month
  • Show projected debt-free date at plan pace
04

Watch the ratios move.

Once your plan is live, RatioPro moves to the background. You get a text or email a few days before each statement date so you can make the payment that matters. You get a small acknowledgment when a milestone lands — 50%, 30%, 10%, card paid off.

You get one dashboard that shows two things: where the ratios are today, and where they're headed if you keep going. That's it. No dopamine loops. No streaks to break. No dark patterns.

The goal is to help you stop needing an app to do this at all.

Example alert

"Card 2 statement closes in 3 days. A $340 payment before then keeps this card under 30% and locks in your ratio for the next 30 days."

What you'll receive

  • Payment reminders before statement dates
  • Milestone acknowledgments (quiet, no confetti)
  • Monthly progress summary
  • Ratio-crossing alerts (below 50%, 30%, 10%)
  • Projected debt-free date, updated monthly
  • Simple pause anytime — no penalty, no push
